Strath Print is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and organised individual to join our small, friendly team in Broadford, Isle of Skye.
About Us
Since 2004, Strath Print has been the go-to local printer for Skye & Lochalsh. From business cards and booklets to banners and beyond, we design and print a wide range of products for our customers. We’re proud to combine creativity, quality, and great service for our community.
The Role
This is a varied role where you’ll be both the first point of contact for our customers and an important support in the day-to-day running of the business. You’ll also have the chance to learn about the print trade along the way. No two days are the same, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and working with people.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and supporting customers in person and by phone
- Responding to emails and customer enquiries
- Preparing quotes and invoices, and maintaining customer records
- Liaising with our accountant where needed
- Promoting our services online and through social media
- Assisting with manual finishing tasks (full training provided)
About You
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, approachable, and keen to get involved. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Good computer skills, including experience with spreadsheets and word processing
- A friendly, professional manner with the ability to build lasting customer relationships
- The ability to stay organised and juggle multiple tasks at once
- An interest in marketing (experience is helpful but not essential—training will be provided)
What We Offer
- Salary: Pro-rata up to £24,570 (depending on experience)
- Hours: 20 hours per week across 4 days, with some flexibility available
- Opportunities for occasional overtime
- Potential for some remote working in the future
- A supportive, welcoming workplace where your contribution will be valued
How to Apply
If this sounds like the role for you, we’d love to hear from you. Please send your CV along with a short covering letter or email telling us a bit about yourself to info@strathprint.co.uk
Application deadline: 5pm, Monday 15th September 2025
